Mrs Dioni Vardaka, Chairperson of the Not-for-profit organization “Panos&Cressida4Life”, first came to epekeina hora (the land beyond) during two separate activities in 2016. Since then the board and the members set a goal which they achieved working hard, efficiently and discreetly. A special nasal inhaler was donated to the Intensive Care Unit for newborns at the Ioannina University Hospital. It was warmly welcomed and set in use immediately.

Twenty five people from the organization visited Ioannina and stayed in epekeina hora between 17 and 21 July 2017, at Vitsa, Zagori. They combined a rich touring schedule with brainstorming work and working groups to elaborate proposals and extract outcomes considering the future of the organization and the renewing of its vision for the next decade. They did take advantage of the friendly infrastructure offered by the land beyond; the contribution of the founder, Dr Nicos Giannis, who assisted using participatory leadership and team building tools, soon brought the desirable results. Food for thought and future projects will accompany the participants besides their beautiful memories.

At the land beyond it is our pleasure to host activities that make its founding objectives come true; walk and talk activities, to pursue cooperation and change; also offering infrastructure for hosting educational, conference, voluntary activities and expositions for NGOs and corporate responsibility organizations.
