8th Vikos Crossing, International Meeting - Global Land Paths

On Thursday, the 7th of August 2014, after having finished the international meeting “Global Land Paths, Cosmopolitan consciousness and action in a planetary world", the participants enjoyed the unique experience of crossing Vikos gorge, from Monodendri to Vitsiko. At the end the most audacious among us jumped into Voidomatis springs. Our friend, Bavesh, committed a memorable action: he managed to stay and swim for 30 minutes completely ignoring the temperature of the water!

We returned to Vitsa by bus, there everyone took his/hers certificate of successful crossing.

Leaving the land beyond we gained the experience of walking the way to cosmopolitanism, approach and peace in an uneasy world for the first time.
